About Leeann Irwin, Your Shiatsu Therapist

A Shiatsu practitioner since 1988, I spent more than two years in Japan and China studying under masters of this ancient healing art. I’ve studied the ancient massage components of Tuina, Anmo, and Amma, Chinese and Japanese, inclusively, and medical Qi-Gong. My practice also incorporates Therapeutic Touch by one of the founders of the approach, Dr. Dolores Kreiger. In 2006 I will apply for recognition as a Qualified Therapeutic Touch Practitioner. I am certified by the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the American Organization for Body Work Therapies of Asia, and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work. I am a member of Nurse Healers-Professional Associates International. I also hold a B.S. in psychology.
